Its been a hard struggle trying to get the UI to change its resolution with the suppose cheat to correct it. But from the previous post about the patch ui's work around, it still doesn't work. I don't know a thing about coding and i will not mess with my game files until someone actually has a guide for it. ALL IM ASKING AS A SIMS 2 FAN TO JUST PUT BACK THE OPTIONS TO CHANGE THE RESOLUTION!! EA COME ON!
maroyiting Have you tried switching to Windowed mode to change resolution? Or, if you prefer Borderless, you can try lowering the resolution in your system settings (Settings > System > Display) so the game reflects that preference; unfortunately there is no other way to make the UI larger unless EA changes something with a patch.
I agree with you OP. I tried the cheat as well and it doesn't do anything, regardless of while in borderless or windowed mode. The UI is just too small for me to read and see. I'm visually impaired so all I can do is see the shapes but reading anything? Nope. It's made the game completely inaccessible for me. I even tried changing the coding (because I know enough about coding to mess with the files) and even THAT didn't work. I'm...honestly not sure what EA was thinking. And the issue certainly hasn't been fixed because the workarounds (at least for me) still do NOT work ^_^'
