The Sims 2 keeps crashing

I've only just bought the The Sims 2 + The Sims 2 packs and have tried to play it for an hour. The first time I tried to play the game it let me create a family and then it crashed. I restarted it ag...

The Sims ! is having the same issue. I can only play the sims 1 for a hour then it crashed.
