The Sims 2 Legacy crashes and unresponsive on launch in Steam

Hi, my PC specs are Ryzen 9 5900X, 64GB RAM, Asus Dual RTX 4060 8GB. When I try to launch the game, it just sits on unresponsive and it crashes. My screen gets very large and I need to restart Window...

    I found this on Reddit: "open steam. select game properties. at startup options type -w."
    It works for me.

You're welcome. I'm not sure. I went ahead and requested a refund. The workarounds for $40 is crazy!
