The Sims 2 Legacy crashes and unresponsive on launch in Steam

Hi, my PC specs are Ryzen 9 5900X, 64GB RAM, Asus Dual RTX 4060 8GB. When I try to launch the game, it just sits on unresponsive and it crashes. My screen gets very large and I need to restart Window...

    I found this on Reddit: "open steam. select game properties. at startup options type -w."
    It works for me.

I'm missing the lower part of the window is there anyway to adjust it or resize it?

I'm not refunding. I will just wait for a fix if not.

    I canceled my refund request because I saw that EA are looking into the issues. I'll wait to see what they do then I'll decide.
