The Sims 2 Legacy Edition | Still can't prepare food

Every time my sim tries to cook, the food glitches and then I end up having nothing. Only way is to order food over the phone or use the buffet. It takes an awful lot of time to always use an alterna...

Yeh still having the same problem. was playing at University to begin with and thought it was something about being in halls...but then graduated and had a new house and same problem! Will eat snacks from the fridge though
