The Sims 2 Super Collection: IS NOT WORKING!

Hi. I bought The Sims 2 Super Collection from the App Store on my mac computer and it's not working. When I open up the game, it says the game is illegal and closes on itself. This craziness started happening after I used the testingcheatsenabled true cheat and restarted my neighborhoods. I can't get any cc or mods into my game now. What's wrong with this game?

    Try this and see if it works:


    • Delete the Sims 2 from Applications.
    • Go to /Users/yourUsername/Library/Containers/ (You can get there by holding down the option key while clicking on Go in the main—upper—menu)
    • Delete com.aspyr.sims2.appstore/
    • Download and install it from the App Store again


    Hope that works.

    No. The App Store will have it listed under your 'purchased' tab. All you have to do is re-download it. You will not be charged a second time.

    Is it showing up in applications? If so, delete it from there again. Reboot your Mac. Open App Store. And download it again. Sometimes if it thinks it's on your computer, it will not show up as a download.
