Same. I purchased Sims 2 when it first released and have it on disk. It shows it installed on my computer in the EA app/launcher, but I can't access it. Am I going to have to repurchase it to play it?

It's funny, because my Ultimate Collection version has never worked, on my old computers. I have not played it once since I got it, since it kept asking for a disc when I tried to play it. Then, when the news about the rereleases came out, I tried installing the Ultimate Collection again, and now it can play on my new computer just fine (my computer is a few years old, so i don't know if it's still considered "new") But now I can play The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection. Isn't that just wierd AF! :P I won't buy the rerelease if there's really no difference between the two.

I own every pack in the Sims 2 on disk, was never able to add it to the app on origin. Now I want to play. I should not have to re-purchase it. What is the procedure to inter my already existing code and play the game? Those of us who already own it should be able to enter our code and play the game. (Can't find my Sims 1 stuff so I'm willing to pay for Sims 1 only.)
