Tried installing Sims2 onto my new computer, Windows 10, to take advantage of a video card that is actually powerful enough to handle the game. Installed base game, launched it, and it actually ran. Sims had black rectangles under them, so bailed out, got and installed the graphics rule, and tried again to test. Game tried to launch, but all I got was an error message box with a red circle with a white X and a message that said 'unspecified error'. Thinking that maybe the rules messed something up, uninstalled it and rebooted the PC. Still getting the error message when trying to launch the game. Any ideas on where to go from here?
