The Sims2 Legacy Collection still can't change language (after patch 2025/02/27)

I downloaded the Sims2 Legacy Collection and chose German language, and it didn't change to German language or any language at all except English language. After todays' patch it still doesn't work. I've tried to change teh language, cleared cache, delete the installation and installed it again.

    Problem solved:
    User account A = English (incorrect)
    User account B = German (correct)

    Data copied from the folder “Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2...” of user B and copied to the same folder of user A. User B had an additional folder, which I also copied.

    This has not yet solved the problem.

    Open the registry editor. Exported the “EA...” reg file from current user B and imported it into current user A.

    did you set up on your EA/steam client the option when installing to german?
    supposedly the patch today fixed that.
    maybe its something about your save file? or was in german in origin?

    Sims 4 läuft auf Deutsch problemlos. Sims 2 wurde ebenfalls auf Deutsch installiert - läuft aber nur auf Englisch. Update: Jetzt startet es auf Deutsch – auf dem selben Laptop in einem anderen Benutzerkonto und da kommt es auf Deutsch. In dem von meiner Tochter bleibt es auf Englisch. Wo finde ich die Sicherungsdatei?
