The Sims2 Legacy Collection still can't change language (after patch 2025/02/27)

I downloaded the Sims2 Legacy Collection and chose German language, and it didn't change to German language or any language at all except English language. After todays' patch it still doesn't work. ...

did you set up on your EA/steam client the option when installing to german?
supposedly the patch today fixed that.
maybe its something about your save file? or was in german in origin?
