The Sims 4 is a better game overall in my opinion though Sims 2 DEFINITELY is better in the regard of consequences and a few features like wants, fears, hobby enthusiasm, and memories. Playing Sims 2 again last year I realized how much better Sims 4 let's you be more in charge of your stories. Sims 2 had too much focus on caring for the needs in my opinion. I also hate how the skills aren't separated and instead are in categories. Overall, before I keep rambling, I just find Sims 4 better.
