Unable to load into Sky Vista Hotel lot

I am having an issue where my sims are stuck at their hotel. They are on vacation and things were fine at first but I now get an eternal loading screen when trying to load back into that lot. I do not have any type of error message, it just doesn't ever load but I can hear the wind/rain in the background as well as the sound of simoleons which I assume is my sims playing the arcade machine.
