Question

The Cap family's scripted event dose not activate. Seen multiple videos on YouTube with the same problem that I'm having. Tried restarting the game, tried playing a deferent household first and then tried playing the cap family house hold, even uninstalled and reinstalled the game. Still wouldn't activate One of the cool features of the sims 2 was the scripted events that the starting house holds come with.

Wanted to make an official report on the matter. So that it is not forgotten about, especially with the ciaos since the re-release of the game.

Dragonstar4ever Thank you for mentioning this; this has never been fixed although it's a relatively easy fix, at least using 3rd party tools accessible to players. The Game Scripting token is already present on the Capp lot (marking the event as completed), so it would have to be removed from the lot which would trigger the notification and the event.

Thank you mate54, I can't believe I didn't noticed this problem when I was a kid, then again I was more into creating my own households and building lots back then lol. Its crazy this oversight has been pushed aside for so long lol. I managed to find a post on tumbler about removing the token, "Veronaville Capp Script", by Pentawa. It was the first time for me using 3rd party tools too, which I can see myself using for future projects. Thanks again Mate!
