What Causes a Thin Black Line on full Custom Outfits?

I have recently downloaded a famous modders custom dresses/skirt full outfits and some of them have a line (like the mesh is messed up) near the bottom of skirt. You can see this when you twist the Sim around in bodyshop to see the outfit. It happens quite a bit with a particular site. I have looked at the meshes and can't see anything they forgot to erase and or didn't leave any white line (mesh) etc. It's sort of like an overlay over the outfit and only seen when you move the Sim around. Does anyone know how to cure this? because some of these are great outfits and the modder is no longer working with TS2 clothes etc. and moved on etc. years ago.

ETA: Usually right below where the skirt/dress outfits end, and not seen unless you turn the Sim etc. Or you see it sometimes if you haven't moved them but becomes very apparent when you twist them around.
  • If anyone wants an example of what I'm talking about one dress is located here, in link, at bottom (last one on page) yellow with flowers, babydoll style dress (that's what my generation called that style). I have a few more from Liana who is a great cc, but would like to keep the dress I have linked and a few others by Liana from her site, are great, but they are messed up for some reason.
ETA: If you download to test I would like to know why there is a black line near bottom of dress, it's great for my Vickie who lives in the '60's but I need to figure out how to correct that mesh or something.

the horizontal line seems to be a gap between parts of the mesh
if you turn the dress towards back you see a bigger vertical gap as well

OMG, thank you. I was afraid it was just my wonked out bodyshop! It can't actually be seen in game but when she turns it sort of looks like there is a layer ripped underneat the dress, it's weird. I checked the mesh but I can't see anything unusal. It's sort of across her rear, and not at knees like some I have from Liana are closer to knees (black horizonal line makes dresses look sort of ripped underneath a dress or skirt in game).
  • If it does I can't find it, I will recheck but I thought that one has only the Alpha mesh and the Matbasetexture and no more files. That's why it bugs me because I couldn't see if they have a layer underneath or over it. I wonder how to fix it, so I can keep it in my game. I have a few more like that, too.

i looked at it in the game, nothing is visible, looks perfectly fine

I can see the black vertical line sometimes, and when she turns particular ways, whatever she is doing it does look like a layer underneath is ripped. I wonder what the creator (RoseSims) did to that mesh or the one who recolored/textured it did to it, because I can't find a way to solve it. I notice it, since I spend a lot of time trying to get any retextures I do to perfection or I won't put or use my own stuff in my own game. Compulsive that way. :)
