Just like TS3- if they're in the pack format you have to double click to install ... but I use the Clean Installer to open them so I can check for unwanted CC.

Also, if they shared it in the clean .package file then place them in Documents\EA Games\The Simsâ„¢ 2 Ultimate Collection\SavedSims
Most people share them in Sims2pack format. :)
