    I strike down the keys
    of ebony and ivory,
    I savor them,
    as their tones roll off my fingertips,
    I wish to be them

    The sweet sounds of joys:
    happiness and love
    for I have neither,
    I'm alone,
    Just me, myself, and a piano

    The keys are all I have,
    I value them,
    For they are beautiful.
    But the Beauty doesn't lie in the keys,
    Only in the person that strokes them

    Oh how my sweet despair carries on like the flame of love
    Simple yet so easily devoured
    The energy of the melody soothes my soul and cleanses my spirit

    Love is unattainable yet easy to find
    That's merely a fantasy; an illusion of emotions
    It's a myth completely disturbed

    A demon lies beneath my soul and devours my love
    Completely paralyzed and unable to search again
    I am a useless being that can no longer speak the words of wisdom

    My soul yearns for emotions and my spirit desires love
    The Demon inside me has already devoured my innocent soul
    I can no longer yearn for such emotions
    I am the man whose soul has been sold by the Devil

    My emotions are utterly refined
    I have no feelings for such idiocy
    The pain, the horror and the regret.
    I can only feel pain... nothing more

    The demon that lies inside me desires to consume my soul into pure darkness
    My soul is yearning for a way to escape my terrible fate
    The dark and frightening walls are closing
    I am fully consumed by the utter darkness of evil

    I hear a melody that beckons throughout my mind
    A joyful melody with such a harmonious tune
    Soft crystal white keys lay before my eyes
    The pain in my heart starts to fall apart piece by piece

    As I play the melody over and over again
    My heart yearns for more and my love is becoming eternal
    No more...No more... No more darkness
    The demon that lies within me has vanished

    The melody is purifying my soul
    The soft sweet tune is making the love I have grow
    I cannot help but wish that this moment was everlasting
    My soul is being purified as the demon inside me is vanishing

    The sweet tune of this piano
    The soft melody and touch of the keys
    The demon has vanished, my soul has been purified, and my love has been regained
    As I play this marvelous piano my only wish is for this moment to be eternal

    A Stroll Down Memory Lane

    Withering flowers interspersed amongst the footsteps stained red.
    A lane of unending torment, the foot’s trailing forever mark’ed against the cool ground.

    It was a path once so full of vitality and joy,
    Of endless bliss and wondrous oblivion.

    She was his creation,
    Fashioned to embody the ideal of perfection.
    Every limb and joint procured and assembled with meticulous dedication.

    At times he was a doting parent, at others a firm mentor,
    And with him she found herself enticed;
    Captive to the intoxicating allure of infatuation.

    It was a love that grew steadily,
    Over the course of many moons and dazzling sunsets,
    All in glorious melange with the sweet melody of the violin,
    Weaving its beautiful tune amongst the stars and whispering trees.

    But such an abnormal attraction can have but one fate.

    A flame flickers in the darkness.
    A lone flame that illuminates the accurs’ed scene.

    It was a night like any other, precluded by the sound of strings,
    Its usual harmony however, was tainted by an unsettling screech.

    The doll ran through the mansion to find her beloved creator crumpled
    Alongside his scattered books and littered candles.

    In her arms he breathed his last;
    No amount of desperate pleas or tortured sobs able to reclaim his soul.

    Since that hour,
    The violin has seldom left the doll’s hand.

    For in its melody,
    And interwoven amongst its bittersweet tune,
    Rests her creator.

    And through the score,
    Behind those musical bars,
    With every stroke of the bow against strings;
    She is reunited with her love.

    All the dreaded cards foretell,
    Shall be paid, but from this night
    Not a whisper, not a thought,

    Beauty, midnight, vision dies:

    Such a day of welcome show
    Eye and knocking heart may bless,

    She cried for all the broken hearts,
    Painted everlasting winters
    Floral patterns etched in ice;
    A frozen tear to
    Soften up the aching bones.

    Bow made love to needy string
    In cooing fling wanton whispers
    Fondled under pianissimos,
    Caressing callous hearts.

    Melodrama swayed in satin sound
    Yet the player wasn't there,
    Only creamy song soothing, yearning,
    Teasing bitter minds.

    Her persevering loneliness
    For beauty of an evening,
    Romance of a tune laughing,
    Sobbing at the fire.

    Then a climax
    Writhing passion cutting deep
    Wounding macho flesh.

    And all in a work of musical art
    Ephemeral stories, yarned of music
    Honed impossibly through her tones
