Chapter 4.1 Childhood's End / The Dreaming
I was now more than 20 years old. This is what happened since I met Gregg Blanco
Marylin, Emilia, Gregg and me all finished high school last summer.
Emilia was involved with Matt Kated, they were not careful and got a child together, Malissa. Matt actually wanted it to become a family at the time, but Emilia could not commit to start a family with him and broke up. Now living at her parent’s home as a single mother.
After the breakup Matt Kated started an affair with my other girlfriend Marylin, not knowing that she is at the same time is dating a younger boy from high school Jimmy Queenland. I told her it is bound to end up hurting people, but she just says “You have to have your fun, while you are young and has no children.

After mother’s book was out Farther had more time to paint, he and David decided to create a “living” gallery at David’s café, to get even more focus on fathers paintings and at the same time attract more customers to the café.

David held an action of two of Roberts works, in connection with the new concept. The result was impressive especially with “View of a summit” selling at a price that was about twice as high as his normal sales prices.

After high school I took some part time jobs, trying to figure out what to do. Finally chose to join the military as I could not get anything else and that might at least improve my CV, my high school grades were far from impressive.

The relation between me and Gregg developed little by little, I was ready to take it one step further, just that I could not really find a good location as I was living with mom and dad in this awful little house. Definitely did not want my debut to be outdoors in some haystack.
There was only one good option left, secretly telling Val about my little “problem”

We turned out all lights, both a little shy. Entering the bed in just the light coming from the streetlamp and a full moon, Gregg was very patient and gentle.
Of course, I had better nights since then, but it was very nice, I believe it was close to perfect for a first time.
