To be honest, it's to protect the safety of many of us. Downloading from mediafire or another 3rd party source has it's risks far greater than the exchange. You can actually get viruses, keyloggers, etc. downloaded depending on how trusted the source is.
I know that... but cc is a risk to... so if people just say this is a mediafire link (or what ever... )then that schouldn't be a problem... we can then choose as individual people weather to downloade or not.....
beside most wants the recs and use this site if posible, you could just say prefered on this site... or along thoes lines.
isn't the whole point to cloct a grand viraty?
