By the looks of it, I would do epic with all sliders to the extreme right once you have the final breed that'll do the challenge proper. You can age up your Sim at any time afterall and the time you get on extreme-epic is way more than you'll ever need.

But this is a suggestion, since reviving with the help of another Sim is allowed.
Once you mix in Faerie (and when lucky, Alien) genes, YA/A/Elder will be close to thousand days on extreme epic.
