Build a City Town

I am always trying challenges and came across rules for a build a city challenge. I like Rflong's Tiny Town and so I started there. I didn't like the complicated keeping track of population part, so I overly simplified the rules to divide the population requirement by 100 and change "population" to "household" so that instead of needing 250 sims for a school, I needed 2.5 households. It still remains challenging as you need 30 households to get a grocery store, so that worked well for me.

I played through the challenge with my normal age setting of 77 days for a lifespan and keep playing my starting household throughout the challenge. My sims would start dying off and leaving homes vacant because I don't play with any extra story progression mods and I wasn't rotating households to encourage pregnancies. I was simply making sure each new young adult from my household was marrying and getting pregnant before moving out.

I did build up Tiny Town to have two dozen active families and all of the rabbit holes except the grocery store. I did place the fruit and veggie carts from the Al Fresco Street Market to serve as a place to buy groceries, but of course that couldn't grant wishes for sims who wanted to take a class in fishing. So, I'm going to play through again on a longer time frame and doing more adopting.
