Backstory: Ancient tales tell that in the dawn of time, dark forces were sealed inside the mountain on Crimson Cliffs. Centuries later, when mining operations began, these terrifying forces escaped from within, causing horrendous accidents on the island. Some even spoke of the Crimson Cliffs curse. Whether there was any truth to the stories, they were enough to make the Moonwraith family to leave dull, stagnant Midnight Hollow and move to Crimson Cliffs to confront the dark forces head-on.
Creator's note: Since I'm a huge horror movie fan, I naturally had to add a family with references to them. That's the Moonwraith family. The father's name, Damien, is a nod to The Omen, the mother Lorraine is named after Lorraine Warren, and daughter Lilith takes her name from the movie The Curse of Lilith Ratchet (not a great film, but love the name). There are also some horror movie references in the house, the clearest one being the doll sealed inside a glass cabinet...
