FLSTRider dropping in to say hello

Hi FLSTRider​ , how great to read you, it's been a while!! The pictures of 'Falconcrest' imported into Unreal Engine look awesome. I checked out Unreal ages ago but had no chance getting to grips with it at all 🙃

CAW itself works okay and the EA App has no negative effect on exporting worlds but I'm afraid EIG is completely messed up. So you can still create lite worlds but can't add builds in CAW.
There seems to be a couple of workarounds that people have tried but for me the only successful way was to install TS3 via my old disks and only patch to 1.67 as that will bypass the EA App then EIG responds as it should. You will also need to make sure that you have the right version of CAW.

I am on a 1.67 install, having completely boycotted the EA app, and CAW works great for me. I can use EIG just fine. The only requirement is that I have a separate The Sims 3 folder dedicated to CAW with only the base game, all expansions, and all stuff packs. Occasionally, I will add a store item or two for a specific purpose. However, if all the store content is installed, it will not load EIG, and may not load CAW at all.
