@amjoie: Thanks for the horse lots! I was wondering how to fit them in, and this can solve that. I like how you've hid the centre because I was trying to fit it into my game too, but that rabbithole just looks so darn out of place, you did a good job hiding it.
Your welcome -- it was my pleasure to share. :)
Getting lots set up for pets is one of my priorities, especially for horses. For most of my families, I put them on a huge lot and have jumps and race tracks right on the ranch. But so many of the lots in LL are too small for that. So if I become interested in a family living in a small house, but they still want to adopt a wild horse or unicorn, then they would need somewhere to practice jumping, etc.
And speaking of wild horses, I found them hiding out in the crater, near the Hot Springs. And that was a nightmare. The lot, as it comes, is so lousy with tree-things (in fact, the whole crater is that way) that I could not get the sim and alien horse aligned to interact. Too much in the way. I finally redid the lot to be open (and thinned out the tree-things in the whole crater), so I could interact with the critters. I also added some pasture grass and salt licks. When I get a chance, I'll have my sim spread some hay, too. Currently, it looks like this.

The other place I found horses was the criminal portal. Hidden very well. Look close, because the wild horse is there.

I felt so bad for the poor thing. Nothing to eat. Nothing to do. Sad. So I fixed up the "lot" as best I could. It is a shabby criminal portal, so they'll have to do with yellow/dry grass, but it is something. I also gave them hay and water, along with one of those heavenly salt licks. If you have Pets, take pity on the wild things in LL, and do something similar.

I was interested in finding the horses so that I could give them new "alien" skins. I had downloaded several before Pets was even released, and saved the coat patterns. That came in really handy, because when you find a wild horse you can shift-click and edit them in cas, but only to a degree (changing the breed, the coat pattern, and the shade of the coat pattern). So if you already have coat patterns saved, it is a simple matter of choosing the right breed, and slapping on a coat. To me, the most alien looking body form is the Hanoverian. So no matter what the wild horse looks like to start with, in my game they will all be Hanoverian body shape with "alien" looking coats. I found three horses, so far. (Sorry about the night pic, it's all I have of that one.)
Alien looking wild horse-critters (it sure beats the defaults)––all these coat patterns can be downloaded on the exchange:

The same thing can be done with dogs and cats, and surprisingly enough, I was able to change the raccoon. I was so happy about that! (The deer cannot be changed, however. I guess they came with the spaceship, along with all the minor pets. Must have been a terra-forming ship, heading to a new planet. LOL)
The first dog I found (I only had the alien Abit Sheepish coat and my alien dog coat, so I chose the sheepish and gave it a blue tint, on a pharaoh dog body form:

My new racoonish critter (reclothed in the Cavri Cat coat):

One way or another, I'm going to make all the critters in the game look as "at home" as my aliens and Hrandalas. LOL
