@bekkasan I was so excited to read this once our family Zoom Christmas program had ended. :blush: (It was lovely. <3 )
I'm sure it felt wonderful to Bekka to have someone she could finally open up to about her old boyfriend and what he did, who would truly listen and sympathize. (Someone who isn't family. There's just a certain kind of healing in that...)
I love how much Jamie just wanted to hold her during the whole conversation. <3 Such a sweetheart, and a man that is very much falling in love. ;)
^I read that and was like, "Daaaang girl!" :open_mouth: (the censored word that popped into my mind was the word I'm pretty sure she said! :lol: ) I mean, I could really feel her rage! And even the heartache. :cry: Rightly so! However, she's gotta give herself credit for holding back on obliterating that SOB because that took a lot of willpower in that moment! :star:
Hee hee, I chuckle once again hearing about him and his lady friend getting frostbite in certain...areas... :smirk: :lol:

What Bekka said next to Jamie was beautiful. And I wanted to hug her too. <3 That's the hardest part of forgiveness...forgiving yourself.
Hands down to what Jamie said in response to it all. :star: He's SO right! Of course it won't be easy...and I can understand why Bekka said she doesn't want to forget so she doesn't make the same mistakes. That is wise.

So...did he use some kind of an empath ability on her? (I don't think it would be a form of hypnotizing...?) This is a surprising ability he has, but awesome! And I like it! :smiley: How very loving and selfless of him to take away her anger, fears, and worries and willfully carry them for her. A true act of friendship and love. <3
