@bekksan - It’s always great to have more free time than you expect, and that seems a good sign that staffing was decent enough that work didn’t need to call you in extra. We didn’t travel either, although TBH we have been homebodies for the past several years already due to hubby’s SCI and the various mobility transportation and accessibility issues that go along with that. I’m glad to hear you had a nice Christmas visit with your son and his family. :smiley: And thanks; we did have a fun time with our kids, grandkids and my folks. My living room was wall-to-wall wrapping paper and ribbons after the grands had finished! :lol: <3
Jamie and Bekka do seem to be a great pairing, and hopefully they will make beautiful ginger genie babies someday. :mrgreen:
I thought the “snowflake hearts” were a cute little detail, despite being an optical illusion. It gave the scene extra meaning, and I liked the symbolism. :)
I think it’s great that Damien let Mary know exactly where he stands, and that Mary is on the same page. They have significant obstacles to face, but it’s good for them both to know they will not be facing them alone. That is, assuming Mary isn’t pulled away come spring, leaving Damien to age for years alone at a time... :#
