@DivaDoodle Thanks so much for your kind words! :heart: It is very sad that not everyone finds it. That is awesome that your Mom had it twice and I do believe it is possible as well. I've seen some amazing stories of love in my career.
I have my moments, thankfully they come less these days. This time of year is definitely harder. I had a couple of days where I would just rock in the chair and think and pick up a book and read trying to distract myself, and then wander through the house touching things and remembering. Remembering is good too. He's always in my heart. I do believe we change and grow through our lives and anything is possible. I don't expect to ever have that again with anyone. He understood me like no one else ever could. I can't imagine another man like that in this world.
I agree with your Mom about how we change through our lives. I have my sims evolve as well. I don't keep the same traits their entire existence since I know they grow. I change or add with MC when I feel it is time in their lives. Mary will get one change shortly.
I don't think of myself as special. I'm like everyone else, taking it one day at a time (sometimes one hour at a time on those tough days.)
@emorrill Yes, you are very lucky with your love! Your friendship and encouragement certainly helped me survive those first few months and I will always love you for that.

Ok...I'm already crying. Your friendships mean so much to me and your encouragement to continue writing and hopefully improving my writing has been so awesome. I'm blessed to have found so many friends here who also understand sometimes I need to talk about him and what he meant to me. I put that in the stories sometimes adding little things that would happen in our lives.
