They enjoy the meal and sit talking long after the dishes are removed. Bekka finds Jamie an interesting and surprisingly easy man to talk to. He loves laughing and telling funny stories and yet draws her out to talk about herself. She feels no pressure from him to be more than friends even when he tells her she is beautiful and gives her a beautiful rose. Her heart does flip flops when he looks into her eyes and smiles that beautiful smile of his.
Yes, Bekka, he is a perfect man! Good that you slowly discover it finally!!!! He will be so good for you!
If it is ok with you I will come by in the morning and take your Christmas things down for you so you can get straight to work. That would be one less thing for you to do and one less worry."

The last two are because Jamie couldn't stay and feeling sad that he had to leave and her confusion regarding that particular emotion.
