Actually it doesn't sound country to me. It's missing the fiddle, harmonica and twang! :grin: It's got a soft rock beat is all, which is what a lot of new country has. It was released in the mid 80's. To me it is one of those timeless songs. Fits any timeline with a good message and yeah, the beat had me bopping around the living room like the people on the street dancing to his tune. :lol:
I enjoy his music and he is an amazing artist. One of the non country artists I do follow. :grin:
I'm really happy you are seeing her grow, that is what I'm trying to show.
She needed to show she cares about him too and is not getting totally spoiled by him. :wink:
