Memories - Couples Modeling - WINNER ANNOUNCED

With Senior High ending, I'm feeling lonely...no not really, but hey, it was a good excuse for another competition!

Welcome to Memories - a competition about reminiscing with old memories and making new ones! Your assignments will be story-based but your photos will not have to be linear. You will basically be giving us a brief, romantic (or not) description of your photo and your couples' memory of that scenario!

You must submit 2 models - a couple. You can be newly formed, married already, or somewhere in between. All kinds of couples are allowed, including colorful ones, alien ones, fantasy creature ones, same-sex couples, anything you can think of really - you're all welcome!

I hope you guys are excited to join this as it's a new kind of competition for me, but one I think (hope) will be awesome!

This is an ELIMINATION competition!

No negativity of any kind - this includes belittling yourself
Editing is recommended
Some writing skills would be helpful
Creativity is important
Deadlines are on Pacific Standard Time - adjust accordingly
Extensions are granted if asked for at least 24 hours in advance
2 day max extensions allowed
No limit on # of extensions this cycle
No copying outright

    FINAL ASSIGNMENT: PLAN AHEAD - FUTURE Memory

    Here we are at the final assignment and I have to admit that I'm sad. I'm going to miss these couples so much. They're both so unique, fun, playful, sad, endearing, and touching all in one! I love them and I'm excited to see what you do with this assignment.

    You and your couple have been through a lot this competition. They've shown us their dirty laundry, their greatest moments, their hopes and dreams for certain occasions, and now it's time to see what your couple has planned for their future.

    This assignment is unique because we want to see your couple fast-forwarded into the future. What's happened, what's changed? Are they still going strong? Have they hit a rocky patch? Are they even together anymore? This is where you get to go all out with your creativity and decide just how far into the future you want to go. You also get to decide just what kind of future your couple has after they've left the competition.

    Your mini-story needs to be between 300 and 1000 words. Please try your best not to exceed 1000 words if at all possible. It's easiest to keep track by typing in a word program and seeing how many words you've done.     Here's a hint - at this point, I've written about 200 words!

    **You will NOT be penalized for going over 1000 words, I'd just like to lessen my load when judging**

    SCORING BREAKDOWN

    Photo Quality: How crisp and clean is your image?
    Photo Presentation: Overall, is your photo put together nicely? Do you have a good setting?
    Model Appearance: Does your couple fit the setting? Are they intriguing to look at?
    Creativity: How outside the box were you? Did you do something unique and fun?
    Relation to Assignment: Does your assignment do what's asked of you?
    Requirements: They're listed, so please follow them!

    FIRST, SOME WORDS FROM BEECH:

    My oh, my! We made it to the finale and with such amazing talent throughout! I'm so sad to see this end because I feel like I've gotten to know all of the couples so well! I miss them already :(

    Nini & Chell - you two are so amazing (as I'm sure you are aware :wink: ) but I am seriously impressed with your talents this cycle. I loved your couples so much and they were SO different from each other that it made the finale very difficult to judge! You both deserve to be here and your couples are SO touching!

    Thanks to my judges for helping me throughout the competition!! And thank you to every competitor - each couple was awesome! I'm looking forward to another cycle someday!

    This was a touching ending (beginning) to the Gene & Emma story. I love the idea that she’s finally broken through, I’m glad we got to see the resolution to Gene’s proposal, and I think that you did a cute and great job with the decoration/renovation idea. I love the blue contrasting against Emma’s gorgeous red hair! These two are so beautiful together and I honestly see them lasting forever! Great job and great final entry!

    Yes! I'm so glad she said yes! This is the kind of ending I was hoping for and I'm so happy for Emma & Eugene! I wish them all the best. I loved what you wrote you always have me gasping for breathe as I'm reading your stories. They are never dull! Overall I loved loved what you came up with! Well Done!

    I’m not going to lie…I cried. As you know, I’m in a place in my life where things are out of control and I lost the one person who used to care for me the way it seems Ceadan cares for Keely – so happy endings (especially involving families) get to me. Your ending was beautifully constructed. I adore this couple – their lighthearted and happy relationship is really beautiful. I’m so happy these two were able to get their family started and are still so obviously in love. Great job!

    This looks fun, and I swear I have the perfect couple for it. Just wondering if the baby will "allow" Me more than one comp at a time...reserve me please. hopefully she won't make things to difficult.

    Tentatively reserve me. I have to see if I still have Ace's boyfriend in my sim bin. XD I *THIIIIINK* I do though! Will still have to tweak him, but I think Cam's in there somewhere!
