I've started remaking the Twinbrook Consignment Shop for use in MH.
I took out the stairs at the back, and changed the roof to use the Victorian cornices in Roof Decorations. (I forget if they came from an EA world or were added in a patch.) I also took out the wire fence and cement plaza and put in an herb garden (Uni Life), and the area that had the house and outhouse is now an alchemy garden with the Wishing Well from Lucky Palms (you could always stick another fountain in there if you don't have LP).
The first floor remains the Consignment Shop; the upper two floors are vacant so you can put whatever sort of shop you want. I'm planning an elixir shop (with the elixir store register), and a magic shop selling Supernatural decor items, magic wands, and merchandise from the More Magic set (cauldrons, crystal balls, voodoo dolls). I'll post a couple of pictures of the exterior later just to get some input -- not sure if I want to go with the original brick with green trim or if I should do something else, maybe a basic clapboard. And I might do a second version that's just base game/Ambitions only, leaving out the gardens so folks can do what they want with those spaces.
EDIT: Okay, here's what I've got so far -- waiting to upload till I get input on exterior.
Mark's Department Store (named after my husband 8) ), with Store, Ambitions, Uni Life and Supernatural content:

No Store symbol or EP marking on the cornices, so think they may have come in a patch and are available for everyone; if someone could verify that I'd appreciate it.
What do you folks think about the exterior? Does the brick work for Victorian/quasi-Victorian style, or should I redo it (either with something existing or CASt an existing pattern? Or I could just go with one of the clapboards and recolor slightly. Input gratefully appreciated...
