Rflong, I played her hard and heavy and she just sat back and smiled prettily at me. hehehehe
But she did finally in extreme aspiration finally give me a teeny, tiny hiccup after laboring smooth as silk from 3 pm this afternoon until a little after midnight. (I did let it just run all by itself for 45 minutes while I made us a light dinner at 8 pm, then ate my dinner at my desk). So I will first tell you the hiccup spot and keep in mind this world had been worked for 3 Sims full weeks - I started with 1 Sims right from CAS. By the time I was done playing the game had generated all the needed service sims and 6 good size families. Also midway into the Sims 2nd week I added 10 more households of YA Sims, mostly singles with a few pairs of sibblings of actual skilled Sims - so that way I covered all the different kinds of housing and jobs - I think I got them all including the highrise and not a single one of the additions that played for another Sims week and a half had any housing , routing, or job problems. They used all buildings, gathered at all the shopping areas and or parks, went to work, went to the clubs and the eating areas, as well as ate at the clubs too.
The one who found my hiccup was the first Sims I put in and basically played through all this testing today.
So keep in mind this might have been an issue of me just being in the constantly growing world a bit too long with out a reboot as I saw no problem for 9 full hours of hard checking, but my Sims was in a sour state of mind and just begging for something fun to do - poor guy I ran him ragged for 3 sims weeks so he'd barely had time to grab a bite of food at any of the clubs, and it was closing time - so finally he had a day off from work and decided to send him to a concert at the stadium he had been begging for (by the way he occupies the domed house - the small one over next to the criminal building) so he did his thing and ran down to the subway to go to the stadium - now listen up -
he came out of the subway staying on the same side of the sidewalk where the subway is located and along the way you have three of those solar panels on the ground well as he passed the second solar panel the game did do a slight hesitation - just and eye blink, and again when he got to the third one which is also where he turns and crossed the street to go to the stadium, it did the same thing, just ever so slightly.
I found it odd it did it right in front of the solar panels. I also determined it is okay on the sidewalk on the stadium side of the road where there are none of the solar panels, as after the concert I had him run back to the subway to go home, staying on this side of the street and it was again smooth as silk.
Next is a wee bit of an oddity that I have never seen in a world, but here goes: after the concert was over and before I sent the sim home, he came out I saw one of my added celebrity Sims so I sent my sim to go meet her. I click on her and get this I get a choice of greet the celebrity or learn a song. I say "You say what" So I click it again, it says the same thing, so for the heck of it I choose sing a song and get the choice of my sim learning one of the two songs from Egypt from the celebrity. It is odd, as that sim is also one of my sims - the one that wears the WA adventure gear but she has never been to egypt. I had planned to take her to egypt which is why she has that outfit on for everyday use, but the fact she hasn't been there and should not have known the songs to start with baffled me, as much as the fact by all right my sim should have gotten the "Impress the Celeb" offer, but he got the song or the greet the celebrity offer. All I can figure is the game was tired and needed a reboot because I first got those two little freezes on the way to the stadium, and then this weird reaction after the concert. By the way I did have the celeb teach him both songs, and then my sim got the right response for him to impress the celeb - which he did easily. Finally he was quite tired and I wanted to make sure the lags were not on this side of the road, so I had him say good bye and followed him home with no further incidents.
I will go back and do further testing tomorrow afternoon and will check out that area with a fresh boot, but if anyone else wants to check out that area it would be good too.
Oh and Rflong the game moved in a Vamp in one of the six families it moved in - would you believe the house you actually have listed as the Vamp house. I have not gone in that house yet, but I have gone into the Red Family House where I moved a couple of YA sims. I just thought that was funny the game put a Vamp in a house named Vamp house.
