Soocoolsim's Showcase ⚜️

Hi everyone, welcome to my showcase thread! I started playing since the original Sims, love building in Sims 3 the most and am happy to see others still enjoying this version as well. It’s been heartwarming and inspirational to be an active part of the Sims community individually and as a member of the DNA request team. In the past several years it’s also been my pleasure to initiate / host / participate in several Sims 3 world build collaborations.

No 3rd party custom content is used in my creations and they are play-tested and Custard checked before uploading. An aspect I really love is creating unique and themed builds, especially those that involve using CFE. The builds in my SIMS 3 STUDIO also include a wide range of architectural styles and blends. I do hope you enjoy my sharing as much as I enjoy building.

    and I love being part of the creative project so happy you let me, it makes me feel like we getting ready to christmas, or like when I got a gift card on a shoping day with my mom... I sort of know whats going to happen/what I get... but not 100% = I get the happy vaiting and the surprice.


    @anettesb , do you still need... 2) simfu acadamy for the university town and/or 4) simfu acadamy for Hidden Springs?

    If yes, do you want them with an Asian exterior or just the inside?

    Which build would you prefer I work on first... university or Hidden Springs?

    Yes still need both, in HS i think more moderen out side, as it be in the business area, but the uni could be more of a chinees garden + house. Need season prof.

    I think I want the HS most

    Lot would be the small in central town ... forget number but it is just 30 x 30
    (2b would make a good lot for it)

    Need to not give the sims much ells than sim fu to do

    On tablet now

    But do what you find fun to build

    rember that townies hardly ever use the board breaker
    if for HS the garden is no more a need... could be want, Kois are needed - but that could be 1 of the big aquariums

    tha main gaol for both lots is to have townie sims learn simfu, they mainly do that if it is the school for it and there is no distractions. It will also be a nice place to go to train sparing for sims that want that.

    Very nice job on the lighthouse. I love it! I should follow your lead and create an showcase thread. :) I used to have one for Sims 3 a long while back, but I made it too complicated. It was too maintenance intensive so I dropped it. It is nice to have your stuff in one place and easier to keep up with. I think I will try again with my upcoming sims 3 builds.

    Lol I had just started to create a lighthouse for Bridgeport but stuck with tower.. it is brilliant idea to use greenhouse set pieces!! Can i use ur idea ?pretty pretty pls?

    Also what did u use to support platform? Looks like kind of railing?

    Aw, thank you everyone. @petalbot, any showcase from you will be totally amazing. I am such a fan of your work and the way you present your pics looks so professional. Thanks so much for your lovely comments :)

    @duyguugudur , lol... sure, you can use my idea using the greenhouse piece for your build. I pinched the rollercoaster piece idea from @MeaganJo for the underside of the platform. Have you seen her wonderful steampunk build. Thanks for the rec and well wishes :smile:

    @soocoolsim indeed Meagan is amazing creator :) Thank you for sharing the secret! Since I hadn't considered using green house pieces I had use mother Russia set part lol planning to place a lighting there via fog emitter.

    But i will try to use platform idea if it is ok for you! Looking forward to see more lovely designs from you! :)

    Hi everyone, hope you are enjoying the summer. Would like to share my latest build below.... another wishlist lot for anettesb for her Hidden Springs world rebuild. My first take on creating a SimFu Academy and I had such fun playtesting, especially the sparring matches. My tester sims were given the "Disciplined" trait so they just loved this facility and quickly build their skills. It's a great option to add this lot to regular worlds rather than going to China to learn SimFu. The style is modern rather than traditional Asian on the outside so is especially suited for the downtown areas. Hope you like it.

    MASTERCLASS SIMFU ACADEMY

    Description: 3 levels of activities for simmies looking to develop their skills in the martial arts. The first floor houses the reception area, a waiting room where they can relax after workouts, a meditation room overlooking the koi pond and garden, and expansive daycare facilities to keep any little ones amused while the parents do their own thing. The 2nd floor includes the sparring room, sauna, dual massage and refreshment area to hydrate and keep hunger pangs away. The top level houses board-breakers and outdoor training dummies and provides a great view of the lovely landscaping.

    WOW! I especially like your use of colors! And the furniture is drool worthy, very nicely done at all :mrgreen:
