Build-n-Share Challenge #211-212 • The Lonely Gentleman
As Rose walks in handing you a fruit smoothie with a smile she looks at you and asks, " I feel so sorry for our next client. He just looks so lonely." You have to agree as you take a sip.
"He will be here soon," you comment. Rose bustles out to make sure to greet your new client with a fruit juice.
As the door opens you notice a young man in his thirties with a slightly pinched and scared appearance. He has brown hair and glasses that are hiding his eyes. "Hello," you comment.
"Hi," he shyly responds.
"How may we help you today, Aaron?" You smile in hopes of setting Aaron Delontes at ease. He smiles and takes the seat you offer at your desk.
"I have worked since I was a teen and have not had time for a life outside of work. I am lonely and hope to find someone to share my life with and maybe have a family. But first I need a home for myself to offer to someone. I hear you are the best and can help me at a fast paced rate?" He comments.
You smile to yourself before saying, " Of course. What type of home are you looking for?"
"A cottage with a lovely garden!", he states. " At least three bedrooms and two and-a-half baths. Also a pool, and a television area, and a den."
"I think we can get that for you.", you respond. "What type of budget do you have for this build?"
"I have a budget of $90,000 for the build and I want a small to medium sized lot if possible.", he responds.
You nod your head and begin to ask him more questions to get a better detail of his request. He is full of ideas and details that will help you in your building of his new home.
As he heads out the door with a sad smile, you hope you can get this home built for him. Maybe, just maybe, you know a few individuals too that might make a nice date for Mr. Delontes.
Build Requirements:
-Budget: $90,000.
-30 X 20 or 30 X 30 sized lot.
-Three bedrooms and two-and-a-half baths. 1 master suite and a bath is a must. 1 bedroom must be a nursery with two cribs at least.
-Living room, dining room and kitchen a must.
-A den with computer and bookcases.
-A television room with a stereo closed off from rest of home. Prefers a large flat-screened television too.
-A pool outside with a patio sitting area.
- A large flower/vegetable garden around home.
- A garage or parking area.
Optional Challenge:
Create Aaron Delontes and have him meet someone(male or female) and have him bring them to his new home!
