255 The Watcher Watches: Pendragon's ~~ For the Good of the Town! ~~





"Fabian, I was with the housekeeper, Nadia." says Jed.
"Was that nice, Like when we snuck over and kissed everyone at the kissing booths?" asks Fabian.
Rocky had seen the tail end of that escapade, and had sent the boys right home! Which had only made it seem all the more exciting to them!
"Hmmm" Jed thinks how to answer.
"Or Like when we watched that movie XXX on the computer, but it wasn't the same kind of movie we thought at ALL, and Vin Diesel wasn't even in it?" Fabian asks.
"No, it was much better than even that!" answers Jed.

The kids settle down and do their homework, before Hanae can Boss them to do so. One of them brought over their classmate, Mara, from school.

Hanae is taking good care of Youngman, she can sense that something is going on with her love, but she doesn't know quite what it is.
Youngman starts to worry. "Hanae, my darling, will you love me even if my appearance changes for the worse?"
"Of course I will Youngman! I don't think there is anything wrong with the aging process! I think you will always be handsome, because your inner beauty and kind heart shines so brightly!"

"But what if I turned into some sort of a Monster, would you still love me then?"
"Youngman, nothing could ever make me fall out of love with you! No matter what you do or whatever happens to your looks! It is You that I love!

We always defeat them, and some of the Amazons might take the least offensive man, to nurse back to health to become her partner.
That was the main reason Amelina moved here and chose the very gentle Aiden. She wrote to me that she couldn't believe there could be such a man, and instantly fell in love! And that is why my sisters and I moved here, to find kind and gentle partners!'' explains Hanae.
Youngman thinks that is the most romantic thing he ever heard! And feels very lucky to have Hanae love him!

Fabian becomes aware that there is a classmate of his on their yard and goes to get to know her better. They seem to share some traits.
"Would you like to come back inside, Mara?" asks Fabian. "It's starting to get dark outside."
"Yes, thank you!" says Mara, and once inside where she can see him better, begins to look at Fabian in a way that Fabian has felt before, from others. He just kind of stands there, taking it all in.

"I'm glad to have a chance to get to know you a bit better, Fabian." says Mara, and that causes a burst of little attraction hearts, between the two. Just as had happened between Fabian and Chad, the other day.
Then Mara tries a flirt, because she, unlike Chad, is not shy!
And Fabian likes the flirt, and flirts back!
Fabian enjoys all this flirting back and forth.







Jed wants to see her again but School is tomorrow and the school bus comes before Nadia gets here to work, and she probably will be gone when he gets back home! What a dilemma!
He has a fitful night sleep in his sleeping bag worrying when he will be able to see her again! He is quite smitten with her!

In the morning, Jed talks with his Pop, Rocky, thinking he just might have thought up a good plan to get to see Nadia again!
"Pop, do you think we can have Nadia as our housekeeper when we move to our new house?"

"I don't know son, I think Nadia enjoys working here for Youngman, but that's is something we could look into once we move, if it's ok with Youngman. Or maybe Nadia can come to clean our home, after she cleans Youngman's house, well have to see." says Rocky.

'Oh, ok. Well Dad, what time does Nadia get here? Um ..I mean, what if I take the morning for independant study?! I think I could learn more here at home! Do you think I could do that, and go to school after lunch?" asks Jed.

Rocky begins to suspect that his son might have a crush on the housekeeper!
"No son, I want you to go to all your regular classes. You need to keep your mind on your studies during school hours!" he says, but can't seem to hide his smile, because that was a pretty clever ruse! And also because looking at his son's sweet face, he can tell he was on the right track with his thinking about the crush!

Jed agrees to his Dad's wishes, because he is a good and mostly obedient son. He just likes to try out the boundaries and stretch them, if he can.
But right now, he feels left out and lonesome for love, because he can hear his brother Fabian upstairs having fun,






while he has to be lonely today! "Well, That's not very fair!" thinks Jed, Then Jed gets an idea!
"Hi Nadia! How are You? ... Oh, well, I'm free for a couple of hours this morning, if you would like to come over?!" well his Dad didn't say he couldn't invite a friend over before school, did he? So Jed figures this is probably ok!

Sunny and Youngman come in to talk with Nadia. I can't tell if Nadia's red heart is for Jed, who just left the room, or Sunny who walked in a split second after the red heart appeared!

And then all of the adults come in the room to talk. Rocky speaks to Sunny about Jed's big crush on Nadia. Nadia talks to Youngman about handcuffs and police cars! Maybe she doesn't want to get arrested?

Ultimately, it is Rocky's decision, and Rocky thinks his son's infatuation is normal, and is not concerned.

Rocky's assuredness and smile just melts Sunny's heart! And she kisses him, longing for their new house!
''To be just a smaller family, together will be wonderful!'' She thinks.

Hanae looks on, she is so pleased! She has never seen her little sister Sunny, so happy and in love!
And she also really approves of Rocky! She's so glad her little sis found a good man!

"Go out Nadia! And stop thinking about my husband! I can see your thoughts, you know!" says Hanae.
"Yes mam! I'm sorry!" says Nadia, and leaves the room. She had picked up on Youngman not feeling so well, and felt a bit worried.

It is at this moment that Hanae understands that Nadia didn't come to work early today, In fact, she didn't come to work at all!

Sunny gets a call from Dante. Dante as head Vampire in town, was elected by the other memebers of the High Counsil to talk with the new couple, about Important Matters that have come to light!
"Sunny, can you and Rocky meet me? I wish to have a moment of your time!" says Dante.
"Of course! We will be right there! says Sunny.

''I don't know if either of you are aware, but our remaining politicians are all corrupt!'' Dante tells them. Rocky and Sunny are shocked to hear this! And Dante continues.
"Duane Wolff was the only good, honest Politician we had, the one we could count on, and he has mysteriously 'moved to another town' with his Den except for his son Waylan who is living with the VanGoulds!''

''And Rocky, since you and Sunny aren't in a career as yet, We were hoping you both might be amenable to joining the career, and quickly rising to the top!" says the great Dante.

Rocky gets an immediate wish to join the career! (as well as one for ghost buster! lol, but I only lock in the one for politics!) and Sunny says "I would be honored to help the cause!"
"And what of you Rocky? Can we count on you as well?" asks Dante.
"Yes! I also would be proud to serve the town!" says Rocky.
"Great!" says Dante. "I felt We could all count on you both!''

Rocky is so proud of this opportunity it makes him feel all Powerful and Virile and he has to show Dante his new fangs!

Dante knows Rocky's feelings well, he has played this game many times with young vampires! He knows they do it in an effort to goad him into revealing his, and plays along, knowing how everyone loves to see His sharp famous Fangs!

With everyone fast friends now, Rocky and Sunny join their new career, and Dante pulls some strings to get them past podium polisher, because of course they already know how to polish, since there are sliver candelabras in their house already, that must be kept shiny!
