"Jed! We have Dad's permission to do the intern work days!" says Fabian

"YES! But I don't want to do a boring paper work job, lets do something more exciting than that!" says Jed, ''Let's choose an exciting job! Also one where we can impress pretty girls!!''

"Oh Yeah! Good idea! I know! Let's go see if they will let us be astronauts for a day! There are really pretty girls in the control room and they might wish to talk and hang out with astronauts!" says Fabian.

Fabian calls Mara to say Hi, and shoot the breeze, chatting about things that only seem important and interesting to teens!
Jeb gets a call from Nadia, if she will see him today. He is so happy to hear her voice!

But has to tell her, "I'm sorry, I can't Nadia. I'm working today." says Jed, importantly, thinking it sounds so grown up to say this.
Jed then struggles with this decision of what he just said,
"It's not quite a lie, is it? to not say the complete truth? I like her so much, but if she knows I'm just a dumb teen in school, she might not like me anymore!" he thinks.

Jeb is right! So far Nadia seems to think he's her same age, just with a baby face she finds tremendously cute....
Oh dear, what a tangled web we weave....





Hanae is up bright and early because she finally gets to go back to work today!
She is telling Brook about the law breakers she will arrest and put into jail!
"So you can be sure to have a very safe and fun day at school, Brookie! I will take care of all the bad guys!"
"Oh that's good! I am Very brave too!" says the little guy.

All the kids head out to the school bus, except for Jed and Fabian.

"Come on boys! I'll drive you to the Town Center, Hanae and I are back to work today after our Honey Moon!" says Youngman!
Oh NO! The twins Forgot that Youngman works in the Military! I hope they mind their manners!

Jed wishes he could sneak back home, to not be under Youngman's eye today!
At least he could be with Nadia, if he were at home!
They wait their turn to go into the building, letting the real workers go in through the door before them.

Finally the workers thin out, and the boys can go in. Jed still thinking about Nadia, and if he can run back home.
Jake Jones says a friendly "Hi" to the boys but they don't recognize him in his spy incognito outfit! So only Jed mumbles a quiet "hello, sir."

The twins are in heaven in the control room, learning all they can, and are in awe of all the the buttons and switches! And the best part is Youngman is off flying jets and is not there to watch them!
Fabian tries to impress the cute girl assigned as his lead, by using words like ''warp speed'' and "Belay that order." and "On screen." The girl just looks at him with a strict face. But when Fabian mentions the ''Vulcan mind meld'' the cutie can't contain her mirth any longer and breaks out laughing!
"Are you trying to flirt with me?" she asks.
"Um," he looks up shyly ''is it working?" he asks, blushing pink.
"No." Then she says very businesslike, ''Now over here on this console it shows us the trajectory of the satellite we are sending up into space.''
awww Fabian is shut down. So he gathers what's left of his male pride and finally starts paying attention to what he has come here to learn.




Jed, on the other hand, has completely forgotten about girls, for the time being, because he is so captivated by how his lead is plotting the course of one of the space modules! Jed doesn't even see a wink meant for him, from one of the control room workers, he just thinks she might have gotten a bit of dust in her eye, and He looks back to the screen.





It is Rocky and Sunny's first day to work! Rocky, an ambitious sim, zooms to the entrance! He is very serious and eager to do a good job!
Sunny, on the other hand, just thinks it is going to be a lot of fun, and is ready to socialize and schmooze!

The boys come out a bit wiser than they went in. But now Jed is thinking again about Nadia, and gets a wish to watch the stars with her.
He zooms on home to see if she is still there working! He hopes so!

Fabian arrives home and gets 3 wishes for Mara, to kiss her, and to write her a love letter and to go on a date with her. What the heck did she say to him on that morning phone call, I wonder?
Either Fabian is on cloud 9, or he is just too tall when he writes his love letter, which rests in mid air! LOL

Since Nadia was so impressed with that, Jed tries another great tactic to impress her! Maybe he can make her laugh! He does love to hear her laugh!

And that's it for Jed, he's heard her cute laugh, he's a goner now, and can resist no longer! And he pounces on her, covering her with ardent kisses!
It's not very suave, or debonair, his actions, but Nadia Likes him and thinks he's wonderful!





This calls for a romp on the water slide! and they play until the school is let out, so Fabian might be able to have his date with Mara!
