The title always makes me laugh, remembering Peter Sellers, in the movie 'Being There', say to Shirley MacLaine "I like to watch" ! :D Well I must admit I Do like watching my sims, just to see what they do! I usually only direct them to help fulfill wishes, although sometimes I admit to doing this creatively! haha
So my family, how did it begin? Starting in Moonlight Falls with Dante, Violet, and Argus, it was plain so see that Violet and Argus were getting to be an item. Dante was best friends with Belinda Crumplebottom, and they decided to move in together to my favorite house. (actually, the only house I like here!)
Belinda wanted a child with Dante, and it pained him to let her down as he felt he was too young, and he wanted a more traditional family when he matured. He loved Belinda as friend, and even though she was so kind and lovely personality, she was not 'the One' for him.
Belinda was swept off her feet by Don Lothario, they fell in love and married. When ever he would scare her she would retaliate by casting a spell on him! :D They enjoyed each other immensely! She has not had a child with Don so far though, she thinks an evil father would be, well, evil!
Moving Forward : Dante

The more he was with her, the more he became convinced she was the One! And so, he convinced her to marry him. I say 'convinced' because She was a bit afraid that he was a Vampire. But, she did love him and she did say Yes! Dante was in heaven! He never drank from her, he only drank plasma orange juice. Their marriage was loving and solid, and then Dante wanted a child.
Tulip always dreamed of babies, but would never get the wish for it. The Watcher (me) became convinced she was worried that Dante might bite the baby! :o One day as they were on a date, Dante started spamming me with wishes to turn Tulip! Even though I usually fulfill wishes, I kept clicking his wishes off. He Spammed me 7 times in half an hour! He wanted desperately to turn her! mmm maybe Dante knows something the Watcher does not! I decided to let him fulfill this wish! I wanted to know! For Science!
"Are you sure, my love?" And Dante slips her a Potent Cure Potion, in case she wants to change her mind. (I always hate it when invited guests don´t come to a wedding party, at the beginning of my playing with Sims 3 even the bride or groom, depending on who didn´t live in the active family, didn´t show up at their own wedding!!! Happened too often, so after a few times I just moved in the Sim I´ve planned to marry into my active family.)

I looove all the unconventional clothing your Sims wear on weddings! Mostly they wear swimsuits but this time I´ve spotted formal wear and a pyjama, great! :D Brook looks so sweet in his sleepwear, it almost as if he wears a suit... ;)

:) I really can´t imagine of playing the whole town. And I am sorry to say, but Homeless Sims are uninteresting for me. I don´t know them and they just serve as a background setting for me, someone has to be at the bars, right? I mostly even delete them when they are hideously dressed.... o:) I just concentrate on my family, with them I have enough to do, because I play all children and some interesting grandchildren as well. None of my Sims ever married a Service Sim... Only residents...
I am sooo happy for you and your husband that you "just" had a normal cold! I can´t imagine the side-effects on you if it was Covid. Good for your sons that they are still young and able to fight Covid (or a cold) better than us! Maybe you got it from the Costco-visit your son and hubby did, we have to be very careful from now on to not get normal infections. We are so used to wear masks and wash and desinfect hands that even a normal virus can be very serious for us! And we will get this normal diseases faster now because we don´t have so many anti-bodies against them anymore because of this hygiene. So when we don´t wear masks or don´t wash hands so often anymore or when we begin to hug each other again, bam!, we can get ill!

Yes I agree with you that of the girls Youngman knows that Hanae is the best choice for him, but if she hadn't worked out (or took too long to say she loved him back) I was ready to try other homeless sims! the homeless ones are more apt to fall in love and want to marry, much more than my created sims which are usually all naughty and willful and maddening! Not too long ago there was a party invite from Timon and Youngman & Hanae went to it! It was within the first 8 days of August! It was fun seeing who all Timon had invited there! :) Youngman & Hanae got kicked out of the party for woo, Just as Thalan had arrived but I found a way to get back into the house to spy!? I should have stayed longer at the festival to take more pics of everyone (the Guys) there, but I was getting tired and it is hard to remember when I'm so focused on this family and trying to get to know everyone still.
Yes it is fun to see the ones we know in the background! I stay with a family until I feel that I know what I want of them, it is harder to know everyone in a larger household, so it takes longer. I want to know and play the whole town! :) Of course I get distracted by homeless sims and then want to play them too! LOL

America is so 'pro business' that I think is why they say no masks needed, so that customers can feel free to go to movies and restaurants and stores, to help the business's! :o all I know is that I am making Amazon extremely Rich, because I don't do stores since covid hit the US! My sons are fine, the eldest does get cold like symptoms which only last him 3 days, he has an incredible immune system, and he is very good a bout sequestering himself away from us during these times. but I do think that is possibly how we probably caught our cold, unless it was when hubby and #2 son went to Costco and it was during the no mask period. That really could have been it! we all do good hand washing etc. since their upbringing was strictly germophobic like mine with my doctor dad, and germs are the enemy! lol I probably caught it either from hubby kissing me all the time or #1 son. Anyway we are all find now and #2 son never got ill. He tells me "My immune system is strong like my mighty heart!" in his Arnold Schwarzenegger impression! LOL we all just Loooove Arnold!?

Especially Brook is such a sweet little boy. <3 Your Sims ask other Sims to move in very quickly, but I loooved it that Patty asked Zack to move in so fastly, because he should better live with her and her big eventful family than with his own. I really can´t understand Rainflower and his "parenting", he doesn´t know his kids at all. Otherwise he should have scolded Peanut for being mean to Zack so often! Hanae is the best choice for Youngman to be with, she obviously loves children and seems to get along with his and the other teens in the household very good. I wonder when the y will marry? I really thought for a second that they would split when Hanae invited the Service Sims over and she and Earl got along together more than good! Was there a flirting between them and wasn´t it only Earl who liked it???? When I see all your played Sims I couldn´t imagine to play some of them and then leaving them to move to another family! But it is great to see this played Sims in the background and know who they are. Makes the town more familiar.

So today I invited them all over multiple times starting Very early in the morning and had Great success! They brought along Jeff and Leif too! I will post it tomorrow! It was a fun save and I got loads of cute pics of everyone!

Hahaha, Hanae's family oriented rampage was hysterical, especially when it culminated in her going to sleep while four of her teens were breaking curfews! Ah well, nobody's perfect. :) Good job, Hanae!
Aww, poor Ayden blows it again! I get such a kick out of him: I find him almost as funny as I find Branch. I clearly get a kick out the weirdest of your background characters who have no social skills at all but, darn it, they sure do make things more interesting!

It is early evening and Hanae is on the rampage, trying to be the good 'parental influence' by bossing all the kids around! :D This is a relatively new trait for her, and she is just now starting to use it! First to get her "Improve Your Skills'' command was Zack, then Patty. They decided to interpret her command as ''go take a class in guitar and see a concert'', since Zack wanted to learn guitar and Patty wanted to see a concert! ;)

At 3am this fishing spot is so pretty, with the fish making splashing sounds! Youngman is so happy because Wikerman is the most gifted tattoo artist in the land! He is a master artist! Wikerman applies the finishing touches. Youngman had to settle for the eagle on his shoulder because they were out of stencils of gigantic anchors, which are his very favorite. ?? And he also gets all 6 of the kids names, which take up all of his bicep and forearm, and then on his wrist, a sweet red heart that says 'Hanae'.? "Thank you Wikerman! That is a beautiful job!
