It feels very good to be back, even if it is in small doses because I´m still not being fully recovered, so I can write just short comments although I wished to write more.
Yes, I´ve read all your posts from the last time I´ve commented, it lasted hours because I had to make breaks after some time, had to change from PC to tablet, then back, had to rest fully... well, you get it. :D
But your story and your writing is so entertaining that I had to read it yesterday!!!
Furthermore I´ve read your and @bekkasan ´s comments on Alfie and Max, I am so interested in your experiment with the books.
Does Max have the books?
Maybe it is him to whom the books are tied to? So that Alfie just gets replacements?
Unfortunately I didn´t see @bekkasan ´s post of Alfarin´s and Milton´s try out of @Rflong7 ´s Supernatural world in winter, I hope I´ll find it somewhere.

No, I´ve really meant the 5th dimension, which should exist in very new theories of some scientists and which says that our 4 dimensions just exists as a bubble within a 5th dimension, which could lead us to many multiple dimensions. (As far as I understood that right, I could be wrong, though :D ) Sounds familiar to Max´ and Alfie´s thinking, hm?? :D

Neither Alfarin nor Milton has books or newspapers in their inventory. But, they both get paid at noon on Sunday for books. They have never written books in my world. Milton gets more than Alfarin. I'm gonna try to keep them in game tomorrow long enough to order books and see if they get books or newspapers. :sunglasses: They are going to be testing houses next so that's a good time to order books.

If you have debug enabler from nraas you can check the id by clicking on Alfie nraas-debug-options smartphone-object-who am I. Object ID is 3rd one down. I don't know how you do it if you don't have debug enabler.

I love that Cabana goes to the stylist on his own. It sounds like he is trying to find his own style. Personally, I'm happy with the towel! :love:
I totally think your sims can read your mind. They seem to know exactly when to make a wish and when to make you give them what they want without the wish. :lol:

@AlexaKry I've got a few pictures from last Sunday of the guys I will post tomorrow on my random thread and Em's thread. I need to move them from desktop to laptop to flickr. I'm still trying to keep my desktop off the internet so having to move them around is a PIA.

YES well Max HAD the books but now I don't know if they are still there or not! Alfie can get 4 of them and Max could get one or Two only. But when Alfie was living there I got them all x3 each and gave some to Max some to Alfie and put some in the book case! Today at Alfie's, Cherie got them and I placed some on a table and put the rest in the book case and then CLONED the book case! :o So I have Another set! LOL we will see if they are still there tomorrow! hahahaa

Later Alfie says "Cherie, Joy certainly is a great human child! I love kids! We should invite her to breakfast more often!"
"I agree Alfie! I like her too, such a fun inquisitive little one! I heard there are certain fairy tricks to make a human child your own!" Cherie says. She recalls a rumor that certain fairy's in town had done something similar!
Alfie wonders if there is a trick or prank to get a human child into the fairy house to drink fairy punch!

Of course Joy has overheard their talk and Wants them to like her and keep her! How wonderful! And if she can't catch them in fairy form and keep them in her pocket, then having them keep her is a good alternative!!!
She challenges Alfie to another pillow fight! "I won't cry no matter how much it hurts this time! I want him to like me!'' she thinks.

"Yes she is certainly a delightful child, I agree! I can research if she has a family or not. We shouldn't really take a child meant for others!" says Alfie "Yes of course you're right!" agrees Cherie.

They decide to go search for more bugs for Alfie so he can continue his quest to obtain the title Master alchemist! At the Alchemy shoppe (the only place I know where bugs are!) Cherie sees Ethereal. As much as she was mad at her the other day for thinking love thoughts about Alfie, Cherie decides to ask her

Alfie is a daredevil and is enjoying the fire instead of helping to put it out! Luckily Bea is good at extinguishing fires! Watcher keeps directing Alfie to help extinguish the flames but Alfie cancels each of my directions :D He is having a blast!?

Don't worry about not commenting on the other thread. Most of the folks don't comment anymore anyway. I'm loading my game as I type this so will have to report later on the trial with the books. I'm trying not to 'fix' all the houses with my style and trying to leave them alone except to check routing and removing anything that interferes with routing. I'm so ready to move sims into the world and start playing in it.

Fun update! I enjoyed reading it this morning.

Alfarin was able to purchase one book and Milton was able to purchase 5. They were delivered and Milton put in his inventory. No papers showed up. I put all the books on the table and gave Alfarin his book and set him to read it. I had Milton pick up a book to read and he sat down on the couch to read. I wanted him at the table so I x'd it out. He put the book in the bookcase and it disappeared! I couldn't find it in his inventory or the bookcase. :cry: I put a book in his inventory, made him sit at the table and read that book so I could get a picture of the two reading at the table. I know...I'm silly. :grin:

I went into nrass, MC-object add to inventory-local-went down the drop down and found: 6 obects.bookwritten and clicked on them and it moves them to household inventory. The missing book was in that list! I moved them to the table and plunked them back into the guys inventories. I saved and will reload that save to see if they turn into newspapers after the nraas mods run the checks. You might want to check your local at Max's and Alfarin's to see if those pesky books are just hidden. :grin: Nevermind...they should be gone if you are using error trap or overwatch. See below.

Just reloaded the game. All the books are gone from inventory. No papers in inventory. I checked bookshelf and local inventory and household. Gone, gone, gone. :cry: They all had German titles too! Was so cool. I'm guessing error trap or overwatch removes as part of the cleanup but I guess it is good that it does that to keep the game from glitching too badly.
