Hi, Bree! Your timing is excellent. The new course on building from a floor plan will be the first Saturday in June. The registration thread will be up soon (maybe as early as tomorrow).
The precursor to the course is the choosing of the best floor plan, which students had some input into. If you want to see all the plans that were submitted and the "winning" floor plan (which will be announced before the new course thread goes up) then you should go here:

I spent the last several pages of this thread explaining what was good and what was bad as far as converting to a Sim build with each of the submitted real life house plans. THAT is the first step in doing well, choosing the best plan.
