Both of the foresty areas have magical elements. The one closest to suburbs 2 isn't very explorable, but it does have a magical grove, with a tomb and ruins.
The larger forest in the north has 2 lots so far, but I might add more (one for the magical fountain/pool), and an empty lot. The lots atm will be for a recluse witch, and for an eco-friendly, nature-loving family.
