JTR Readiness Check

Question

With JTR coming, officially, June 14th, I'd appreciate a little feedback on what more I need to do to get it done.

I will be able to get bb8 to a decent level and g8-g9 and I will have enough mk3 materials to get his important abilities up to a respectable level (Omega illuminated destiny, for sure). In addition, I will be able to get the vets to 7 stars if I buy the pack they sell during that time. I also plan to use my arena mods on the characters for the event. Lastly, I will be leveling all the current characters to 80, at minimum.

I know increasing Rey and Finn gear levels to g9 and getting some Omegas on their abilities will be helpful, but can I do the event without doing those things? I'm trying to be careful in where I'm allocating my resources with such limited time remaining before the event.

Also, are there any vet abilities I should improve beyond 3?

I would suggest you save your gear and ability mats and try the challenge - if you lose then upgrade a bit and try again.

You're at the bare bones requirements from what I've read, which isn't bad. I did the CLS missions at absolute minimum, and while I finished it, it was extremely frustrating. Like someone else replied, I would farm the gear for Rey and Finn up to 10, and if you decide you need it, slowly start adding it after the event starts and you take a few whacks at it until you feel like you're making strides.

Also, with BB8 still locked, I would do an inventory check on your gear for him to make sure you can get him to 8, as well saving a few of his gear 9 pieces just in case.

Officially? Where was it posted?General consensus is g10 Finn, Rey, bb8 and the vets at g8

Vets should be ok at g8.  Focus on bb8 - you may want one more gear level on Rey and Finn as well.
