Haha, careful there. Purity isn't worth that much of a headache (even if she causes them easily enough!)
I'm working on the next chapter now (1/3 of the way done, trying to stay ahead), and I can definitely say that it's an interesting one  There's an upsetting revelation for one character, a very sudden turn of events, and an ending that is something I think no one is expecting. It'll be fun
Eden has thankfully learned from his experiences how to handle Purity and her family  And you can believe there will be more to the Waters family story. One of those side stories I want to do even involves them. It'll be just a one chapter thing if (when?) I get around to doing it, but I think it should be very insightful and deep. It's one that has to wait until the end of the generation anyway though. Otherwise, it would generate massive spoilers.
I was trying to make sure that Amaranth, Allium, and Frost all remained potential romantic options for Ethereal, but now that it's gotten to the point where the main focus will be on the romance I have to say that he has always meant to be that one male friend who remains a friend. He's the one where the feelings have been and will always be platonic and sibling-like, even if there's some occasional joking around (probably the only case you'll see of that is the next chapter). So, we do definitely get to see him again next chapter  It's not for long, but he gets more screen time than three of the six main friends at least  That's not to say anything with him is going to be devoid of romance though. He and a certain someone will be causing a little stress sometime down the line :smirk:
Yeah, I really like Cocoa  She's got the same position as Sap at the moment. Likeable and totally decent in her own right, but she does stand in the way of the main ship. (Other people are picking up your ship name of Christmas, BTW.) I tried to show little hints here and there that there was a slight connection between her and Amaranth; majorly, Amaranth being closer to her than everyone else since they live in the city and Amaranth going along with Cocoa's idea of chewing on the hay at the loft sleepover.
It's fun to say too
That is true about the color options isn't it! I didn't even think about that :hushed: I've stuck with the beginning green since it's what my eyes are used to. The white seems too glaring and empty to me.
