I've been around for less time than either of you! The only reason I'm comfortable doing this comp is because I have a TON of previous editing experience, and while I wasn't so good at modelling when I started, I feel much more competent now. I also used to be in education before I switched to medicine, so I'm comfortable teaching and making plans, etc.
I recognize the both of you and think your work is top notch! I think if you've been modelling for a while or not for so long but the comments in your contest photos from the judges aren't always revolving around "poor quality" "bad lighting" and so on and so forth, you're just fine as a candidate for mentoring.
