...oops. Hahaha, time machine kids?

When I got my game a few days ago the thing I was most excited for was the time machine. I had heard that sometimes sims come back from the past with children, and that sounded insanely amazing, so I couldn't wait to try it.

When I got my first time machine I sent my sims into the past to try for a baby. They came back without one so I had them try two more times right away(a total of three times). They never came back with a baby, so I gave up...

Later I found out that it takes a while for the kids (who are actually young adults) to show up out of the time machine. Before I knew it, I had THREE new young adult children walking out of the time machine, who looked just like their parents. Haha, it was the funniest mistake I've ever made playing the sims.

Anyone else find this out the hard way? I must say, the time machine is by far my favorite Sims feature of all time.

I had 2 adult married sims. I bought a time machine and made them "try for baby" inside. About 1 week later (sim time), a old guy came out saying "Hi mom and dad, I'm your kid from the future". The best mistake I ever made yet. And I tried for baby in the future twice and the past once. I'm scared what comes next... :)

The Time Machine is full of surprises. My single male firefighter sim (who I had not intended to start a family anytime soon) is now the single dad of an adorable little girl. I had him go in the machine to kill some time before he headed out to a party. While he was in there, the party notification came up so I X'd out the time machine so he would come out and go to the party. When I did that he came out with his daughter (from the past I think). She looks like she would be his daughter, same dark brown hair with highlights. I was stunned and was going to delete that game and use the previous save but I didn't. She quickly grew on me and she's one of my favorite sims now.

What happened with me was, the woman and man tried for 3 babies from the past and 5 from the future. She then comes out with some little boy (not her actual kid he was some random gift from a local or somet). Next she comes out with this girl wearing a medieval outfit. Then her twin comes out later. Afterwards, some boy in a caveman outfit comes out. Next thing I know, I've got three elderly lady and an old man (waiting for one more) coming out the time machine. LOL some of her kids are older than her.
