10 minute disgust moodlet won't go away

As Keylimepie said, someone around them is either smelly, or your sim, or another sim in the house has something spoiled or garbage in their inventory.

There might also be something stinking up the house. If you hover over the moodlet, it will normally tell you what they are disgusted about. (from smelly sim) or (from garbage)etc.

No it's not that there is still gross stuff around-it doesn't count down, and it never goes away, even when everything is sparkly clean and nice. I think it's a glitch-minor, for sure.

Most of the moodlets count down, so you can see the time slowly getting shorter and shorter. Is yours not doing that?

If it is, then there has to be something else dirty in the house that you haven't seen yet. Dirty sink? Countertop? Bad food in fridge? Trash bin full? A dirty plate left behind the chair? How about a smelly Sim napping on the couch? LOL!

Try saving up enough lifetime wishes points until you can buy the Moodlet Organizer. That might clear up your glitch.

The moodlet only starts counting down from ten minutes once the mess has been cleared or the smelly sim has eft the room.

Whoa-garbage in the inventory! I hadn't thought of that! He's a cop and he does dig through other people's garbage to write up his reports. I'll give that a try. Thanks everybody!

one more thing to try. i wish i had a picture to show what i will try to explain but i dont so i will try my best to make sense. do you ever drag your leftovers into the fridge instead of making your sim do it? i had this same moodlet issue once and i looked everywhere for the offending filth. finally, i see this little piece of plate sticking out of the wall or counter or something. one of the plates i dragged into the fridge didnt quite make it in there and was like, half in the fridge and half in the wall behind the fridge. so i dragged it into the trash and the moodlet immediately started to count down. i now no longer drag things into the fridge lol.

silent stitch...the same thing happened to me with a plate of food when i first got sims2. i did the same thing by putting the table in the far corner of the lot because i couldnt delete it. luckily, even tho this issue wasnt mentioned in the patch notes when the patch came out, the plate was unfrozen after i installed the patch. so dont forget to check the plate when the patch comes out. hopefully itll become unfrozen.

I know this post is really old but I found a really good solution to this glitch. None of the ideas on this forum worked for me unfortunately (thanks for the help though :D) but I found ONE that did!

Download the Master Controller Mod and there is an option under "Household" to "Clean All". I clicked that and the silent flies buzzing noise stopped and the "Disgusted" moodlet started counting down! :D
