Gotcha, can you try/have you tried these steps already?- Clear IE's cache
- Go into Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 3 > Downloads and delete .bin
- Clear IE's cache
For anyone who doesn't have Internet Explorer on their computer due the fact that you removed it or never had it before, you can still clear out IE through Microsoft Edge. You first need to go to your Settings on Edge and then Default Browser and click on the Allow sites to be reloaded in Internet Explorer mode button and then hit Restart so that Edge recognizes IE in the Privacy, Search and Services tab. Once that is done, then you can go to Privacy, Search and Services to see the Clear browsing data for Internet Explorer.
Hope this helps for anyone who doesn't have IE or who hasn't switched it over in Edge... :)- graceymanors4 years agoLegend@EA_Cade the only way I was able to fix it was by deleting my sims 3 folder and starting over with a new game :(
- @EA_Cade I'm still unable to get logged in. Tried deleting the cache, tried deleting the bin file, still unable to log into either launcher or game. Any more suggestions? I'm all ears lol

Hmm, can you try a different connection like using your phone as a mobile hotspot?
I'm not seeing widespread reports on this. - @EA_Cade I'm actually on a different connection at the moment than I usually use. It's been happening on both. Let me try the hotspot option and see what happens, I'll report back.
- iAMciane4 years agoSeasoned AceAs @lisasc360 mentioned, when this happens, Internet Explorer, no matter what browser you use, must be cleared. The privacy settings must be reset and the box to clear all personal settings must be checked.
bring up Internet Explorer.
Click on the tools icon (3d from left, 2d from right)
Choose "Internet Options"
Click on the Advanced tab (last tab on the very right)
Click on RESET
A pop-up box then has a box in it to check - Delete Personal Settings
Then click on the RESET
This will reset Internet Explorer and should then let you log in.
Whenever you have this problem with the launcher and logging in, do this. - @EA_Cade I tried the hotspot and that didn't work, either.
I have cleared my IE data repeatedly, I have done everything as requested. I'm at my wits end here. When I try to sign it, it just bounces me back to the log in screen immediately.
Any more suggestions? - Myrrhawa4 years agoSeasoned ScoutMine does what DjSparkles does. It's a loop .You log in ,press enter ,it looks like it will log in but instead it pops up the log in screen again.

Hmm, at this point I would recommend reaching out to support here so they can take a look into this for you.
