Maybe it's a swamp cooler. AC units are usually on the roof, no?
That is exactly what my AC unit looks like, and in a very simular location. I've never seen units on the roof, unles it is for commercial buildings.
Lol maybe it's location. Where I live all houses' ACs are on the roof.
The type of unit, the way the duct work is run and how large the structure is are determining factors whether it's a roof or ground unit.
Here, most houses are ground units. Many roofs are not flat and there is no place to set the unit.
Depending on the size of the apartment building or business, it can be either. Some don't have the ground area and must be placed on the roof.
I really love this unit. :D I read in an earlier thread that the fan turns so that it looks functional.
I thought it would have been introduced with Seasons, but I'll be glad to take it either way!
