Air Conditioner Unit

Forgive the dumb question, but how do you get to this mode? I've heard of it, just never used it before. I too am glad to see this minor addition and would like to add it to all of my houses, but cannot find it in the catalog either.

hit ctr,shift,c all at the same time, that brings up the cheat box.
Type testingcheatsenabled true then enter
after that bring the cheat box up again,
type in buydebug then enter

the buydebug will be another category you see in buy mode, it is the question mark icon. =)

That is exactly what my AC unit looks like, and in a very simular location. I've never seen units on the roof, unles it is for commercial buildings.

Mine is on my house's roof! We also have one on the side of the house for the garage.

I have supernatural and there is a air conditioning unit outside one of the houses but I can't seem to find one for my house. I looked all over in the buy mode and can't locate it. I tried moving into that house to see if I could put it in my inventory but it won't let me. Usually when you clone items it takes you to the part of the buy mode where it's located but it doesn't do that either. How do I get one??

I was a little irritated to find you had to use a cheat to get the a/c. But now I'm using BuyDebug all the time for the plants... :-)

The one in my house is indoors because it's an air/heating unit. That's another way it can be placed in a home, irl.

I love the electrical breaker box unit too. Nice to have something like this to decorate the outdoors too.

Tried the gutter system yet?

I think they are great and am glad they included them witn SN. They appear to be decorative only (even though the fans move giving it a more realistic look).

I was just wandering if they will be more functional when Seasons comes out ... where you may need one to keep your house more comfortable in summer/winter? Guess we will have to wait a few more months to find out :wink:
