Another Opinion Poll: Double, Single, or No Roof Decor?

Thanks to all of your input on my water tower lot, I'm almost finished with it!
But now I could use another opinion... :p

This time, I'm working on a chess park. I'm trying to fill up a world like I previously mentioned so I'm adding all types of unnecessary parks. Lol. Anyway, in this park, I have these pergola type things and on them are the roof decor pieces that came with Dragon Valley. The pergolas I am asking your opinions on are the small ones with the groupings of three chairs underneath.

I have three options for you all to decide which looks best.

A Pergola with Double Roof Decor pieces:

    Whenever I have seen a real life chess park it has no roof. If you did want a half way house between roof and non roof you could try putting in a trellis and then adding something like ivy or wisteria :)

    I think the best look is none, with the only two decorations in the back—the space feels a bit more open that way. It helps that the two in the back are farther apart; maybe the ones you're asking about would look better if they were smaller. If you did go with one per side, I think they would look better on the outer edges rather than centered.

    But it's an adorable little park anyway, regardless of which option you choose.

    More importantly @Amphora you are missing the king and queen...but good news they are free and already in your game just hidden locked Showtime simport rewards.

    Here add this tiny mod it adds no CC to your game just unlocks hidden simport Rewards which includes these




    If you were wondering why EA left out the most important chess pieces... they didn't :p

    Ohhhhh you are a lifesaver! I was setting up the big chessboard and when I saw that the King and Queen were missing I was seriously bummed out. I simply made do with the pieces that were there but this is a million times better. Thank you, craven! o:)

    Y’know, after I went through all the effort and concentration of not messing up on this poll (unlike my other past attempts :D ) I realized that having no roof on those two pergolas looked so much better. So thank you for your vote!

    The checker board is a "heavy" decor in itself, and seems out of proportion with roof decorations! :)

    Agreed! The consensus seems to be no roof decor on the small pergolas and I agree wholeheartedly. Here’s the finished look:

    All in all I have 4 small chessboards, the giant chessboard that is obviously not able to be used (which is a shame. I’d love to see something like that in game) and one domino board since that game also provides logic :)
