To get all your sims out of there, open up your cheats (ctrl-shift-c) window, type in: testingcheatsenabled true then open the cheat window back up (ctrl-shift-c) and type:resetsim * This will reset everyone in town. Please note that your game may lag for a minute or two as it resets everyone. You could also go into edit town and pick up the lot and then place it back down, this will set everyone onto the sidewalks. But they may still be stuck there so if they are you will need to reset them all. I would go in and edit the lot you are having issues with so that people won't get stuck (remove the air conditioner), so that it doesn't happen again.

Sorry my advice didn't work for you. It is what I used to do back when I did have this issue (not just in RV). I have played RV a lot as it is probably my favorite EA town, but I have never had an issue with Hogan's Diner *knock wood.* I do use Overwatch and Error Trap though so I have not had any problems like this for a long time now. I thought a patch had addressed this issue, but maybe I was mistaken and it is just the mods that take care of it. It should not mess up your town to just delete Hogan's Diner. Unless there is a grave/urn on the lot. If someone died there and their tombstone/urn is still there, you would want to move it to the graveyard before deleting the lot. HTH!ETA: It occurs to me that you may have a stuck social jig in the way that is making it difficult for people to leave. Unfortunately, without Twallan's mods, I do not know how you would even check for it or get rid of it.

Sorry, DivinylsFan. I know this is maddening and not funny, but ... it sure made me laugh!

I think the advise Mariesalias gave was actually the best. Resetsim is what will clear up the problem. And you can always reset your own sim by typing in resetsim firstname lastname (with your sims first and last name in it's place. Any sim, for that matter). Also, overwatch and errortrap from Nraa's mods will probably help clear things up in Riverview as well. I'm just now playing a family in Riverview, so I can't say if I've had that problem or not, since I have overwatch and errortrap installed, I might never catch the issue.

Yes, the release date got pushed back. They had originally planned to release it in the Spring. They have made poor/somewhat insulting excuses as to why it was delayed, but honestly I think the real reason was because they needed to. But you can't tell your shareholders that! lol

Hopefully, the delay will mean they will fill the game out more then it was originally intended to be and we will get a better game in the fall. :)

As for Sims 3, yeah it is full of bugs and glitches. I don't think it is exactly because the devs didn't care about quality, but between deadlines and a horrible game engine. Hopefully, the Sims 4 engine will be better and more adaptable.

I’m having the same problem with the diner in RV. The air condition is attached to the building itself it’s not one of the ones you can add or delete. And the building is so big that the air conditioning is right on the line of out of bounds so when they exit they legit get stuck because they can’t go past it. Sorry if someone already said this. Just letting you know you aren’t alone with this problem:)

Get NRAAS errortrap or overwatch or even both! I've never had this problem before but that's what I'd look into.
