I am going to be utterly boring and suggest you go into edit town mode and simply remove the Song household. It will certainly give Joshua a new boss and a chance to get the working relationship to a more normal state. Strange about the Songs though, I always thought them a nice friendly couple but then I only use them for testing my houses :D
